Process & Approach

Our approach is based on technical precision, standardized inspection procedures, and legal admissibility. We guide you transparently from the initial damage assessment to the finished expert report.

1. Initial Contact & Scope Definition

Every assessment begins with a thorough clarification of the matter. We first verify our professional competence and any potential conflicts of interest.

  • Review of documentation (plans, invoices, contracts)
  • Clarification of evidentiary questions (for court reports)
  • Preparation of a non-binding quote (for private reports)

Important for You:

The more detail you provide about the situation and history of the system, the more precisely we can estimate the required effort.

2. On-Site Inspection & Technical Assessment

The on-site evidence collection is the core of our work. We use state-of-the-art measurement technology to objectively document the actual condition and unambiguously identify fault sources.

Visual Inspection

Drone survey, visual inspection of modules and mounting structure, verification of installation quality.

Measurement Technology

IV curve measurement, insulation measurement, thermography, electroluminescence.

Our Measurement Technology:

  • Thermographic camera (infrared)
  • Electroluminescence testing equipment
  • IV curve measurement device
  • Drone with thermal imaging camera
  • Insulation resistance tester

3. Analysis & Evaluation

After the on-site inspection, all measurement data and findings are systematically evaluated. We compare actual values with target values from design documentation and standards.

  • Evaluation of all measurement data
  • Comparison with design documentation
  • Standards compliance check (DIN VDE)
  • Root cause analysis

Quality Assurance:

All findings are verified through at least two independent measurement methods before being incorporated into the report.

4. Report Preparation & Handover

The completed report contains all findings, measurement results, photo documentation, and legally admissible conclusions.

  • Complete photo documentation
  • Measurement protocols and evaluations
  • Legally admissible conclusions
  • Action recommendations

Delivery Format:

The report is delivered as a bound printed copy and as a PDF file. Upon request, also digitally signed for electronic submission.

In-Depth: How Does an Assessment Work?

At a Glance

In 5 clearly defined steps to your expert assessment report — from the free initial consultation to report handover. Transparent, plannable, and with fixed timeframes. Average duration: 2 to 4 weeks.

Step 1: Initial Consultation and Scope Definition

In the free initial consultation, we clarify the question, scope, and timeframe of your assessment. You describe your situation, we evaluate the starting position and recommend the appropriate report format. For insurance or court cases, we also advise on the optimal approach for evidence preservation.

Step 2: Quote and Engagement

You receive a transparent fixed-price quote with a clearly defined scope of services. There are no hidden costs. After your engagement, we jointly plan the on-site inspection and, if necessary, coordinate access to the system with the operator or grid operator.

Step 3: On-Site Inspection with Measurement Technology

Our expert assessors inspect the system on site — with drone thermography, electroluminescence measurement, IV curve analysis, and additional inspection methods. For BESS assessments, the on-site inspection additionally includes BMS functional testing, capacity tests, and safety evaluations. All findings are documented photographically and with measurement data.

Step 4: Analysis and Report Preparation

The collected measurement data is evaluated in the laboratory and placed in the context of applicable standards. The report is prepared according to DIN VDE standards and contains all measurement results, photo documentation, normative classifications, and clear action recommendations. For court reports, we ensure compliance with the requirements of the German Code of Civil Procedure (ZPO).

Step 5: Handover and Consultation

You receive the completed report with a personal explanation of the results. If needed, we are available for follow-up questions, supplementary reports, or as expert witnesses in court. We also support you with our expertise in negotiations with insurers or installers.
