For Insolvency Administrators

Clarity on the value and condition of
energy assets.

PV plants and battery storage in the insolvency estate raise questions: what are they worth, and what condition are they in? We provide the court-proof basis for realisation and creditor satisfaction.

At a glance: We value energy assets in the estate quickly, neutrally and to court standards — from a single rooftop to a ground-mounted park with storage.

Frequently asked questions — insolvency administrators

How quickly can you value a plant in the estate?

After the engagement we arrange a site visit at short notice. An initial robust valuation is available within five to ten working days depending on plant size; complex portfolios are agreed individually.

What is a PV plant from insolvency actually worth?

That depends on condition, the remaining term of the feed-in tariff or the marketing situation, lease agreements and removal obligations. We determine the value as at the cut-off date and by scenario: continuation, sale as a whole, or realisation of the components.

Do you also handle evidence preservation towards third parties?

Yes. We document the actual condition to court standards, for example to secure warranty claims of the estate against contractors or to record the condition before continuing operations.

Do you support the bidding process?

Yes. We compile the technical documentation, answer Q&A from interested parties and provide the fact base with which a higher purchase price for the estate can be substantiated.

Can you also value project pipelines of insolvent developers?

Yes. We assess development projects by maturity — site control, grid connection, permitting status — and determine the value per project stage. This allows the pipeline to be marketed deliberately instead of written off across the board.
